There is a tradition in the service that if you request to be assigned to California, they will send you to New Jersey (actually happened to me). Well the same was true of your work. We did a story on how the AF was taking guys with Doctorates and Masters Degrees and making them into Security Policemen and Cooks. The guy shown here actually has a doctorate in chemistry. His job each day was to turn a knob one half turn clockwise. That's how his education was put to use in Vietnam. Oh, btw he was an Airman 2nd class.
