If you studied philosophy, you would probably think that I just took out everyone's ideas and called them my own. But really, everything I know has come to me over the years, from how my parents have raised me, to what kinds of schools I've gone to, the friends that I have made, and the people that I love that I've gotten to know well.

Don't doubt my origins: I come from an Israeli mother and Guatemalan father. Although I'm Jewish, I haven't had any religious upbringing; mostly my mother has followed Jewish traditions and celebrated the high holidays. I can speak Hebrew, and some Spanish, but my reading and writing for both aren't that great. I'm a devout atheist, as I've seen the effects of the institution of religion on families (specifically my own), and I've come to really resent all forms of it. I do, however, support spiritualism, but only that which has developed thought behind it. I have no patience for cows who follow the herd and confrom to what others says just to fit in. I strongly believe in individual thought, and intelligence (stupid people piss me off).

My friendships have come a long way from since when I was little. I've had best friends, boyfriends, acquaintances, and up until recently most of them have been quite dense. Thankfully there is some hope left in humanity, and I've found several friends and one particular person that has greatly added to my life. Compassion and understand viewpoints are new things to me, as well as the beginnings of fully trusting people. I love the "twenty questions" game a lot now, since it's become the major way I get to know people.

Anyway, on to my future. Being a senior in high school, I'm basically at the end of the highest point of my life thus far. And really, these last two years have been the most incredible for me, the happiest I've ever been. Of course, smiles never come without the tears, and I've had plenty of those in the last two years as well. Still, there's nothing that I've found that has meant so much to me and impacted my life as much as what I've acquired in the past two years. Hopefully I can take this on to the next stage of my life, with graphic design, and do what I've seen done in nearly daily life. I like design and art, and I'm a really huge perfectionist, so the two go together well. We'll see how it goes..
